Clearing a Carina Heights townhouse site in two days
An existing site in Carina Heights was being demolished and cleared to make way for a substantial new townhouse development. Treesafe Environmental Services handled the clearing from start to finish, including fauna management and the Council paperwork.
Powerlines, a main road and a lot of eyes on the job
This was a commercial job in the middle of a residential area. Homes sat nearby, powerlines ran close to the work area and the site sat beside a main road, so the public could see everything we did. The work had to comply with the Brisbane City Council approval, with wildlife protection in place the whole way through.
Clearing, wildlife and Council reporting handled by one crew
Rather than leaving the developer to coordinate different parts of the process, Treesafe handled all of it. Climbing arborists and elevated work platforms took care of the tree work, two wood chippers processed the material and three excavators, from 5 to 23 tonnes, cleared the ground. A fauna spotter stayed on site for the entire clear.
Once the site was clear, we prepared and submitted the clearing completion reports to Brisbane City Council, confirming the work had been done in line with the approval.
