Clearing 423 trees for a Jimboomba road widening
A road-widening project on Mundoolun Road in Jimboomba needed 423 trees cleared, the stumps removed and the material mulched, all while the road stayed open. Treesafe Environmental Services delivered it as a complete clearing package over 10 days, with daily oversight from Logan City Council.

The trees included forest red gum, narrow-leaved ironbark and yellow box, all standing alongside a road that stayed open to traffic for the whole project. Every stage had to be planned around live traffic, fauna requirements and ongoing Council oversight, with daily checks, inspections and meetings.
Traffic, fauna and Council managed as one job
Treesafe organised the traffic control and fauna management alongside the clearing itself, and took part in the daily Council meetings and inspections. On a job this size, in a spot this public, keeping the Council across progress and upcoming work was part of the job.
Our seven-person crew worked with excavators from 14 to 25 tonnes, large wood chippers and an inline horizontal grinder. The trees were cleared, the stumps removed and the material mulched.
